Preparation for school

2 times/week for 60 min. or 1 time/week for 120 min.

Preparation for school (classes are held in Latvian) is a developmental program for children aged 3–6 who are curious about the world, love creative ideas, want to learn how to express them, and are ready to do it with joy! Program goal: to teach children to learn with interest and pleasure — and most importantly, to make their lives brighter, more versatile, and more exciting.

Our program includes three learning steps:

1. step – „Discover and Explore” – for children aged 3–4;

2. step – „I Can Do It!” – for children aged 4–5;

3. step – „I’m Going to School!” – for children aged 6–7.

Program content:

• Mathematics and logic
• Latvian language learning – reading with joy, fluently and expressively! We read, discuss, prove, and even debate! Jolly Phonics method
• Exploring the world – “I’m Einstein!” – we investigate, “touch” the world around us, and conduct experiments!
• Learning politeness and cultural behavior
• Art classes – creating our own masterpieces!

Our students will learn to:                                                       

• Read and understand texts, retell stories
• Write words and sentences in printed letters
• Solve both simple and more complex logical tasks
• Work independently with educational materials
• Speak correctly and engagingly on various topics

One-time fee for study materials – 15 EUR per course.
